Notorious filmmaker Ken Russell (The Devils, Altered States) brings his unique brand of madness to this searing look at a night in the life of a prostitute. Theresa Russell (Black Widow) gives a daring performance as the cynical “pretty woman” who’s seen it all, done it all…and now tells it all.  As Liz confesses her darkest secrets in a brilliant stream-of-consciousness monologue (adapted from the play Bondage by David Hines), Whore employs a multi-layered structure that captures the complexity and brutality of sex work in the tarnished city of Los Angeles. Costarring Antonio Fargas (TV’s Starsky and Hutch) as the mischievous Rasta, and Benjamin Mouton as heartless pimp from whom Liz yearns to escape.
