A double feature of campy chaos from exploitation titan Herschell Gordon Lewis! Lewis's underground answer to The Beatles's A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, BLAST-OFF GIRLS follows the story of Boogie Baker, a slimy music impresario who leads a band called The Big Blast (portrayed by Chicago-based garage rock band The Faded Blue) down a path of sex, pot parties, and surreal hang-outs with Colonel Sanders from Kentucky Fried Chicken. Written by frequent Lewis collaborator Allison Louise Downe (BLOOD FEAST), THE GIRL, THE BODY, AND THE PILL is an Afterschool Special from hell that finds teenager Randy Hunt (Nancy Lee Noble, SHE-DEVILS ON WHEELS) navigating sex-ed madness, a psychotic father, and questionable facts about birth control pills. AGFA and Something Weird are thrilled to bring these overlooked Lewis treasures to Blu-ray for the first time ever—"in eye-blasting color!"
